Residents throughout the Dobbins ARB JLUS Study Area had an opportunity to provide their input on the compatibility issues at the first of three public workshops held the evening of July 9, 2014 at the City of Smyrna Community Center. This public workshop brought citizens from Cobb County and the Cities of Marietta and Smyrna together to become acquainted with the JLUS project and provide valuable input in the study. Among the items discussed, the workshop:

• Provided a briefing on activities and missions conducted at Dobbins ARB by the Dobbins ARB Commander
• Introduced and explained the JLUS process to the communities
• Provided an overview of the compatibility factors that the JLUS study will assess
• Gathered public input for the identification of preliminary compatibility issues

The interactive workshop allowed attendees to respond to survey questions and participate in group exercises facilitated by the project team to gain input from the community about potential compatibility planning issues concerning Dobbins ARB and the region.
